As an Office Operations Administrator, you will be joining a passionate, hardworking team of folks who show up excited to create and build an environment that supports Opal employees to do the best work of their lives. You must be self-motivated and adaptable, as Opal is growing rapidly in Portland. A successful Office Operations Administrator will work with the Operations Team to streamline office activities and flow, as well as supporting the daily functions of the office. Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day office activities and operations.
  • Assist in maintaining site hospitality - answering phones, greeting and checking-in guests/vendors, alerting staff of arrivals or messages.
  • Maintain office cleanliness including front reception, common areas, conference rooms, storage areas, and kitchen.
  • Responsible for sourcing office / kitchen supply needs and weekly inventory maintenance/ordering (ensuring back stock).
  • Responsible for daily inbound and outbound mail.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties.
  • Assist Office Operations team/manager with various office tasks.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Passionate about making the office an awesome place to work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Friendly persona with a can-do attitude and powerful work ethic.
  • Proficient in Google Apps and Mac OSX.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment preferred.
  • Must be a licensed driver and have a car to run office errands.
